Recommended Browsers and Operating Systems

There are two sides to Easygrants, Public pages and Staff module, and both support different browser environments.

For the Public Pages: Theoretically, any Web browser and Adobe PDF Reader Utility is what is required.  In the real world however, browser brands, versions, and client operating systems play a role in how well the system will run.   The same holds for Adobe PDF Reader versions.  Therefore, we maintain a list of supported operating systems and versions, browsers and versions, and Adobe PDF versions.  The list is as follows and is subject to change:

Adobe Reader versions 5.0 or 6.0 can be used to view any PDF files generated by Easygrants.

For every implementation, Public pages are tested using the browser, operating systems and Adobe Reader versions above.  The system may run fine on other platform combinations.  But it is certified to run on the above.

For the Easygrants Manager, i.e., the Staff module, Easygrants is considered "IE Inside."  What this means is that the Easygrants Manager is certified to run in Internet Explorer 6.0 on Windows 2000 or XP.
